My Journey
My Journey
I started my yoga journey at the age of 16. Growing up, I always had an interest in yoga, but it truly deepened when my family moved to Mysore. It was there that I joined Sri Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti (SPYSS) and attended my first classes. My passion and dedication caught the attention of my teacher, who began training me to lead classes. From then on, I was both learning and teaching, offering free classes to the community.
When my family moved back to Hyderabad, I pursued a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification at Bodhi School of Yoga, where I was awarded the Best Student Award for my dedication and commitment.
Recognizing my passion, they offered me a position as both an instructor and a model for the school’s programs. I taught multiple classes daily while balancing my degree studies. After some time, I left Bodhi School of Yoga to start my own practice, offering online yoga classes. During this time, I also pursued certifications in Prenatal Yoga and Face Yoga at Ekam School of Yoga.
After completing my certifications, I started teaching offline classes at various studios, schools, and organizations. I then moved to Tampa, Florida, to pursue a Master’s in Information Technology Management. While in the U.S., I completed my EPR (Emergency Response Procedures) certification and began teaching yoga at the University of Tampa. Despite my academic commitments, my passion for yoga continues as I balance my studies and teach yoga.
